Peachy S. Luna, RRT, MAEd‑EM is a distinguished academic leader and global advocate for radiologic technology education. She serves as Chair of the World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation (WRETF), directing international programs that advance radiography education, professional collaboration, and student development worldwide. Since 2011, she has represented the Philippines as International Council Member to the International Society of Radiographers and Radiologic Technologists (ISRRT), while also leading CPD Asia as Secretary General, where she spearheads continuing professional development initiatives across Asia. Nationally, she has held pivotal leadership roles including Secretary General and Public Relations Officer of the Philippine Association of Radiologic Technologists (PART), Secretary General of the Philippine Association of Deans and Faculty of Colleges of Radiologic Technology (PADFOCORTI), and Program Chair of Radiologic Technology at Manila Central University. She previously served as Dean of the College of Medical Radiation Technology at the Philippine College of Health Sciences and as Dean of The Family Clinic Inc., the pioneer school of X‑ray Technology in the Philippines. Her regulatory contributions include membership in the Professional Regulation Commission’s CPD Continuing Professional Development Council and Career Progression and Specialization Program – Credit Accumulation and Transfer System and has been a Board Director of the Council of Professional Health Associations.

Throughout her career, Luna has received awards and recognitions for her outstanding contributions to radiologic technology education, professional leadership, international collaboration, research advancement, and continuing professional development. Her achievements reflect her enduring commitment to excellence in education and her significant impact on the growth and advancement of the radiologic technology profession.

Beyond academia, Luna has served the nation as a Chief Petty Officer in the Philippine Naval Reserve Force and has contributed to cultural development as a long‑standing judge for the Catholic Mass Media Awards. Her career is marked by excellence in education, innovation in professional development, and dedication to international collaboration. Through her leadership, she continues to shape the future of radiography education, ensuring unified standards, research advancement, and global partnerships that elevate the profession worldwide.

I have been a radiographer for over 30 years and have worked in a variety of clinical settings in the UK. Having completed postgraduate studies in my main area of interest in clinical reporting, I continue to practice as a radiographer in clinical, reporting radiographic studies of the appendicular and axial skeleton. Since 2011, I have worked in education at Canterbury Christ Church University, where I have led the musculoskeletal Clinical Reporting course.

I have had the pleasure of teaching students from several overseas countries in reporting and initial interpretation of radiographs.

Mohammed Abdalghani is Head of the Radiology Department at the Tulkarm Health Directorate, Palestinian Ministry of Health, where he has served since 2006. He holds a Diploma and Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging from Al-Quds University and a Master’s degree in Computed Tomography and MRI Sciences from the Arab American University.

Mohammed previously served as President of the Palestinian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (PAMRT) and as a Council Member of the Arab Federation of Radiography and Medical Imaging Specialists Associations (AFRSA). He currently serves as a Trustee of the World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation (WRETF) and as a Council Member of the Arab Association of Medical Radiation Research.

His professional interests include medical imaging education, MRI, workforce development, radiography practice, and international collaboration. He has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed publications on radiography, MRI, medical imaging education, and the advancement of the medical radiation profession, with a particular focus on strengthening medical imaging services in Palestine and supporting the global radiography community.

Professor Subramanya “Manya” Betageri, MSc EROP, DRTT, R.T.(T)(ARRT), RTR (RA)(HCPC, UK), is an ARRT-certified and registered radiation therapist in the United States and an HCPC-registered therapeutic radiographer in the United Kingdom. He has more than 21 years of clinical practice experience and over 12 years in radiation therapy education.

He is a Full Professor and Clinical Coordinator of the Radiation Therapy Program at Bellevue College in Washington State, where he teaches and mentors future radiation therapists, bridging academic education and contemporary clinical practice.

Known as “Manya” within the radiation oncology community, he serves as a Global Ambassador and Trustee for the WRETF and as a volunteer educator with the Rayos Contra Cancer Foundation.

His international career spans India, Jamaica, the United Kingdom, and the United States, providing him with a broad perspective on radiation therapy practice and education across diverse healthcare settings. His professional interests include patient-centered cancer care, advanced radiation therapy technologies, quality assurance, and the education and professional development of future radiation therapists.

Manya was named Radiation Therapist of the Year in 2005 by the Society of Radiographers, Jamaica, and has been twice nominated for the Bellevue College Foundation Excellence Award. He is an active member of ASRT, AEIRS, CoSORS (UK), NEA, and WEA, reflecting his continuing commitment to professional service, education, and the advancement of radiation therapy locally and globally.

I am an Advanced Practice Radiographer with experience in chest and skeletal image interpretation, education and development of the radiography workforce.

I currently practice as an Advanced Practice Radiographer providing plain film chest and skeletal image interpretation and clinical reports. I also maintain image acquisition capability in plain film and computed tomography.

I have extensive experience in radiography education having led clinical placements in a radiography department for undergraduate students and continue to deliver education to undergraduate and postgraduate radiographers as well as other healthcare professionals and support continuous professional development.

I have previously been a member of the Society of Radiographers Artificial Intelligence Advisory Group contributing to guidance for the clinical imaging and therapeutic radiography workforce.

I have an interest in global radiography and undertook volunteer placement in Uganda as part of Health Education England’s Improving Global Health Diagnostic Imaging Project where in collaboration with the local imaging departments focussed on developing a service improvement strategy and implementing of radiation safety guidelines.
