WRETF Educational Partnership Program

The WRETF is dedicated to creating a global culture of volunteering to promote and assist in increasing access to education in the science and practice of radiography, radiation and allied subjects throughout the world.

In accordance with the mission statement of the WRETF, we encourage radiology and radiotherapy departments in high-resource countries to work together with those in low-resource countries. The WRETF facilitates this by “twinning” or partnering those departments.

This relationship may take many forms and levels of sophistication. It may simply consist of sharing educational resources such as recent journals, books, and clinical experiences or may take the form of online education or teleconferences, etc.

Co-ordination is done by the WRETF which will seek opportunities for those willing to participate. Details will be supplied and contacts shared so that communication and a sustainable relationship can be established.
