WRETF Facebook Group Reaches 5000 Milestone

BasmattieSawh, medical imaging technologist from Georgetown, Guyana proudly shows off her certificate as 5000th Facebook Member

The World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation (WRETF) has reached a milestone in its social media activity. Chairman, Chris Steelman, recently notified trustees that the Facebook group had just reached 5000 members, a superb achievement in little over 5 years since it was fully launched.

To commemorate the achievement WRETF Ambassador Ramona Chanderballi, based in Guyana, South America arranged to present BasmattieSawh, with a special award in her department, Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), Georgetown, Guyana. She was very surprised to receive the award during her night shift a few months ago; “I am very happy to have been the 5000th member to join this distinguished site that does a huge amount to enable radiographers, medical imaging technologists - like me, and those associated with radiography to exchange ideas, network and provide a forum for discussion. I would like to thank Ramona and the WRETF for surprising me with this framed certificate”, Basmattie said.
